Project Description
Online catalogue for The Historic New Orleans Collection marking the completion of the MINT collections management system, a fully intergrated library, archival, and museum collections management system with a live federated search engine. Special Features include searchng by "Collection Themes" a hierarchy of 188 topics on which we actively are collecting materials and an image gallery that allows you to compare images and has a zoom to fullsize feature. A single query will return bibliographic, manuscript, special collections, artworks and artifacts that comprise our holdings. When cataloging permits researchers can browse through the hierarchy of archival descriptive cataloging. Item level finding aids for manuscript collections are also available as pdf files through the collection level record.
